32 weeks

Yep, that's right, I now officially only have two months left! That means in two months I'll have an adorable little girl that will call me mommy for the rest of her life! :) I'm so excited! I'm starting to get into the uncomfortable stage of pregnancy. On days when I've been busy and done lots (mainly being on my feet for longer periods of time) my belly aches as well as my back. It's loads of fun! I'm excited to be coming to the end...especially since Veja's movements have become more pronounced. It's so much fun to feel her move! She's definitely getting stronger! And bigger! My belly is getting bigger and bigger every day it feels like! Here are some pictures. :)

Jon takes this picture and tells me to stop pushing out...
That's really how big my stomach is...I'm not "pushing out" or anything!

Good bye feet...see you in a couple of months!

Family pictures

My family decided to take some family pictures while we had everyone here over Christmas. It's a good thing we did too because our last family picture is from 2009 and we've all changed since then (some more than others of course) and we've added two new members to our family, Jon and Chelsea. Also Kaleb left on his mission so the next time we'll have everyone together for a family picture will be 2 years from now when he gets home. By then we'll have at least one new addition to the family, if not more! In terms of grandkids of course. Veja will be a year and a half by the time Kaleb gets to finally meet her! CRAZY! Anyway, here are some of our pictures.

And of course a goofy one...I wasn't very goofy. My face reflects exactly how I felt that entire day. Yeah...it was the day I had the flu.

30 weeks

I can't believe I'm already at 30 weeks...meaning there are only 10 more weeks to go! :) So I decided that it's about time for another baby update. Like I said in my last post, I've upgraded to Dr's appointments every two weeks! Well I got a letter from the Dr's office telling me that they couldn't get a hold of me. Come to find out they didn't have my phone number (even though I had given it to them a couple of appointments before) so i called and they told me the results of my glucose test. My blood sugar was slightly elevated (big surprise...I was sick, my body is definitely not going to process sugar the same way) and I'm slightly anemic. So I got to go in for a 3 hour glucose test! Tons of fun...lucky for me I had a good book to read. :) I noticed something funny though. I was at the Dr's office for a long time which means I got to see lots of other ladies come through to get blood work done for various reasons and almost every single one of them turned their heads as the needle was in. I got poked 4 times that day...and guess what. I watched every single one of them. I used to not be able to watch shots or anything like that, but now it doesn't bother me. I think I'm ready to get my nursing degree! ...if only I didn't still have to wait another year. But hey, on the bright side that means I have a year with my baby before I have to leave her with her grandmas and grandpas or aunts and uncles so that I can go to class. :)

6 down and 3 to go

Yeah, that's right I'm 6 months pregnant! In 3 short months we will be welcoming a beautiful baby girl into this world! My belly is still tiny, but it's growing. I swear I'm getting bigger by the day now! I finally look like I'm really pregnant...now people don't have to question it. :P I had a Dr appointment last week where they did the glucose test (yuck! I do not recommend doing this while you have a cold!) and did an ultrasound. I was told during the ultrasound that our little girl is in the 88th percentile! She's a big girl! But they haven't changed my due date whatsoever, so March 23rd is still the day we're looking forward to. I'm in awe of how she can be so big and yet I stay so tiny! Also I got to "upgrade" to Dr's appointments every 2 weeks! Time is flying by! How has 6 months passed so fast?!

Here's a picture of me between 28 and 29 weeks! What do you think? Still small?
